While in Lisbon we had an opportunity to have the tasting menu for lunch at Belcanto . This was our first two Michelin star experience.

The service really stood out Belcanto . From the host that greeted us to our waiter and wine sommelier- everyone was friendly and extremely professional. Great job Belcanto on your team !

Food

The food was delicious. Their food is described as Portuguese cuisine in an elevated setting and it hits its description. I don’t eat raw seafood , beef etc and they were able to make substitutions easily and still serve a delicious meal . The hallmark of excellent chefs !

We had wine paired with our meal and choices recommended were a great compliment to the food . Highly recommend doing this if you enjoy wine !

Decor

We went there for lunch during Covid so it was crowded . It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The restaurant is tastefully decorated – adding to the overall experience.

Overall we found the experience to be incredible . The service exquisite, the food – unique and delicious, the wine parings to be point on and the restaurant was decorated stunningly. Highly recommend a visit for a high end meal and experience!
