Where To Eat In Cusco?

Where To Eat In Cusco?

We were in Cusco for only two days . One of those days we left very early for Scared Valley Tour and from there to Machu Picchu. As such we didn’t have very many meals in Cusco. We also had a slight case of altitude sickness so we ate at the hotel ( one lunch, one dinner and all breakfast in Cusco) .

Our hotel in Cusco was Palacio Del Inka . The restaurant at the hotel was called Inti Raymi . They served excellent breakfast buffet ( included with our room) and we had an excellent dinner. Worth eating here if you are craving North American quality food .

Curry House

One night for dinner we decided to try something different. We went to an Indian restaurant in Cusco!!

I normally don’t like to do this unless the region is known for cooking a specific type of foreign food . However we were craving spicy food and gave into our cravings !

The decor was beautiful. It was located in an older building with a beautiful courtyard and the inside had Indian inspired decorations .

The food while fresh lacked authentic flavour.

Ollantaytambo Train Station

Another meal we had was at the Ollantaytambo Train Station Restaurant. It was decent food and a good option if you are wrapping up Scared Valley Tour and need a bite before your train journey.
