If you only had time to do one activity in Singapore pick visiting the Super grove trees at night time . If you are able to visit it after midnight it will be a lot more peaceful . The tree areas are open from 5 am to 2 am . The skybridge will be closed after 9 pm but that doesn’t take away from the experience of vising the trees at night time !

At night time the trees are full of lights and the entire area looks like it’s from another world ! When you visit after midnight there are no other people around . It is an extra special experience. It’s a magical experience that will delight most people’s inner child .

If you have more than a few hours in Singapore, do visit the super grove trees during the day time as well . These trees are unique and make for beautiful photos.

Cloud Forest and Flower Dome :

 

Near the trees there are two domes that can be visited for $28 SGD . Cloud Forest and Flower Dome .

 

Cloud Forest – This is an indoor greenhouse that houses thousand of species of different altitude . It’s a pretty neat experience. If you are short on time you can skip this .

 

 

Flower Dome – This is another greenhouse that houses plants from different regions around the world . There weren’t many flowers though. I liked the Cloud Forest better . Again you can skip this if you are short on time .

 

 

In Gardens By The Bay there are different parks near the Super Grove Trees and you can explore different ones as time permits . If you get tired of all the greenery you can walk across a bridge to Marina Bay hotel shopping, casino , rooftop bar etc .

 

If you are staying somewhere other than Marina Bay use public transportation to get to the Garden By The Bay . Singapore has an awesome public transportation system.

To me the Super grove trees and Marina Bay are the symbols of Singapore and are a must visit.
