One of my favourite places in Cambodia Siem Reap was the hotel/resort I stayed at . It was the Courtyard By Marriott .

Courtyard By Marriott in North America is considered to be about a three star hotel . In Cambodia it is a five star resort !

Rooftop Bar

The property I stayed at was recently build and the first day we were there it was less than 25 perfect full . I loved having the hotel to ourselves that evening. The rooftop bar the first night was completely empty – never had an entire rooftop bar to myself before!

It is a beautifully designed bar with music playing, lights and a telescope from which you can see Ankor Wats !

Hotel Restaurant

The food we had was incredible! The hotel has one restaurant . The items on that menu is also available at the bar and for in room dining.

Each dish on the menu was incredible! It was the best food I had in all of Siem Reap ! We even went to a few high end restaurants and found the food at the hotel to be much better!

Service

The service at the hotel was exceptional! From upgrades to constant checkin they made sure we were happy.

Every request we made was responded to in a quick and efficient manner .

One such instance, on the day we had to leave it was a really early start . I asked them for coffee and pastries and they baked fresh croissants for us even though their kitchen wouldn’t have opened for another hour !

I loved the people of Cambodia and their mannerisms.

Hotel Room

We got upgraded to a suit with a bathtub and view which I loved !

Hotel Grounds and Spa

This property is fairly new and beautifully designed. Really enjoyed the pool and the common areas including the rooftop bar .

They also had a very nice Spa with very affordable services. An hour long massage is about $45 .

Overall this hotel had it all ! You only need to go outside to visit the temples and can spend the other time in the hotel relaxing!

A perfect location with all required amenities to explore Ankor Wats from !
