When I am on vacation I like to google dishes that are local to the region and make an effort to try these dishes . Did the same in Capri and was surprised by the number of cool things that were invented in such a small island .

Most Awesome Dishes Invented In Capri

Had the following dishes at Al Capri Restaurant.

Caprese Salad – Arguably the most famous item is the Caprese Salad . It was delicious.

Ravioli Capresi – A type of ravioli with specific cheese fillings with a tomato and basil sauce . Excellent invention!

Torta Caprese – A type of chocolate cake . This was also delicious. I wasn’t expecting to like this but was blown away by how well made it was .

Other Items We Tried On The Island

We also had pizza at Al Capri Restaurant and enjoyed . This restaurant has a large number of negative reviews on trip advisor but we had an excellent experience. People sometimes just need to chill ! The views from this restaurant was also stunning.

Arancini Balls – We had this for a snack at the beach club we spend the afternoon at and it was so yummy . I wasn’t expecting it to be so delicious. Many logs recommended we try this in Capri and now I understand why !

Other items recommended to try at Capri were different type of seafood pasta and seafood. Since we had this earlier at Amalfi Coast we didn’t try these .

Overall Capri was a hit for us in term of food !
