We got into Florence at night time . After dropping off our stuff at the AirBnB we headed out for dinner .

Walking through Florence was a refreshing experience. In the historic part there were not many cars . It felt like how it would have looked in the past . The city also appeared meticulously clean compared to Naples !

We walked to a Sandwich shop recommended by a food blogger friend of my husband! The sandwich shop was called All’antico Vinaio . The sandwiches were delicious. Definitely stop here for a delicious meal at an affordable price . We sat on a side of a building and devoured the sandwich!

Afterwards we dropped by a Gelato place also recommended by the same food blogger ! The place was called Vivoli Il Gelato . This was simply the best gelato in all of Italy !! If you only eat gelato in one place in Italy pick this place !

Once we finished up with the Gelatos we strolled back to our AirBnB. There were beautiful ancient buildings along the way and people playing music in the squares . Definitely a city to spend sometime in the summer months taking in the sights and enjoying the food !
