Top Restaurants In Algarve ( Lagos & Albufeira)

We were in the Algarve for 6 days and 5 night . Stayed in both Lagos & Albufeira .

Over this time period we tried many restaurants in both towns – unfortunately I didn’t capture the names of all the restaurants we ate at . I did however capture our favourite restaurant in each town . Highly recommend a meal in both of these restaurants.

Lagos Restaurants :

Tasca do Kiko ( favourite restaurant in Portugal)
Goldig ( Good coffee & bagel )

Albufeira Restaurants:

Palace Indian Tandoori Restaurant ( favourite restaurant in Albufeira)
Tres palmeiras restaurant ( now closed )
Cliffside Bar at Pine Cliff Resort ( stunning place for a cocktail)

Favourite Restaurant In Lagos , Algarve & All Of Portugal: Tasca do Kiko

Tasca do Kiko is a tapas restaurant that we tried in Lagos and we loved all the dishes . Some favourite dishes were the tuna burger , anchovies and egg with truffles.

This turned out to be our favourite meal in our 18 days in Portugal.

Favourite Restaurant In Albufeira: Palace Indian Tandoori Restaurant

When we were staying in Albufeira we found Palace Indian Tandoori Restaurant while searching for Indian food . It turned out to be a gem of a find .

It had delicious fresh nans and flavourful curries . Definitely a treat after days of non spicy food .

We liked the restaurant so much that we visited two times during our three day stay .

Highly recommend for Indian food cravings. One cool thing we discovered about the Algarve was that it had a lot Indian food options.

Goldig – Located in the Lagos historical city centre , it had excellent Coffee and bagels . You can grab a quick breakfast here and than explore Lagos .

Cliffside Bar at Pine Cliff Resort at Albufeira- we stayed at this resort in Albufeira and dropped by this bar often . It is a perfect spot to watch the sunset . Also it’s all outdoors . Definitely worth a stop over if you are in Albufeira.

Tres palmeiras restaurant in Albufeira ( now closed ) – we had a fancy date night at this restaurant. They had excellent prawns . Their seafood dish in copper pod was okay – I had high hopes for it .
