Day 2

On our day two we will wake up early and try to cover the following sites .

Canale Grande

• Walk over it . Four bridges cross it
• Take a ferry/water taxi over it

Gallerie dell’Accademia

This is an art gallery and I am mainly interested to visit this building to see the exterior.

Two Other Churches To Visit :

1. Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute – by the water

Private Gondola Ride

• This is a must do activity for me in Venice! It is on the expensive end but worth it for us !

 

Teatro La Feniceis

Beautiful opera house to visit .

Jewish Ghetto

A neighbourhood to visit and try fried artichoke at .

 San Sebastiano

Another beautiful church to visit if time permits.

Murano

There are many different islands you can visit from Venice . We decided to visit Murano for the glass blowing demonstrations.

Day 3

We are going to leave Day 3 for adhoc exploring and for covering anything we couldn’t get to on Day 1 and 2 . We love these free days on our vacation.
